Team Charter

This Charter's purpose is to put the founding concepts into a written form so that it can be easily defined. History: Summer of 2006. The concept was started by Pathfinder (after conversations with Banshee) and taken up to Coffee to start a team that would avoid the typical problems associated with many teams that lead to problems that cause players to leave the airsoft arena. It is hoped that the frame work will accomplish this. Team Recondo was established to form an airsoft team that has the below listed basic premise.

1. The team will be established under the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol concepts as devised in the 101 st LRRP units of the 1967-1970 time period of the Vietnam War, but with contemporary weapons and uniforms. (For further understanding read “Six Silent men”, by Martinez .)

2. All team elements will have the capability of functioning individually and as linked up larger units when needed.

3. Team Recondo is first and foremost an airsoft team and NOT a business.

4. All members will be viewed as NCOs.

5. Membership will not be contingent upon a set number of events or training days one attends. People have families, jobs and situations that arise and the team will be flexible about attendance.

6. A set of rules for applicants requesting inclusion will be posted in a section of membership/rules.

7. Members can go to any event and play on another team if the Recondo Team is not at that event. Those members go, knowing that they go as individuals and not a representative of Recondo, but they must keep in mind that they visually represent Recondo by their affiliation and as such should conduct themselves appropriately so as not to bring dishonor upon Team Recondo.

8. Team Recondo name, patch, website and forum are team owned and not the property of an individual.

9. The team was originally established with three original administrative leaders. These leaders would be open to all suggestions of team members and then make a majority rule decision of changes for the betterment of the team.

Amendments

1.The administrative leadership of three will be increased to 5 and sit as a council to oversee that the Team Recondo remains within the original base frame work. Members on the council will be voted in by popular vote and do NOT have the authority to change the base LRRP concept. Council members will field information/suggestions from team members to ensure that members have a voice on the team.

2.All future amendments will be approved by team membership vote. A simple majority will carry the vote. All efforts should be made to allow a full team vote.

3.There will never be a vote to change the LRRP concept.
